1) They had equal talents, different but equal. That's what made them great.

2) Bob Dylan - he forever raised the bar for lyric writing.

3) "I've Never Been To Me" among many others

4) Bruce Springsteen w/E Street Band

5) John Mayer on lead guitar, Keith Richard on rhythm guitar, Sting on bass, Charlie Watts on drums, Garth Hudson on organ, Bruce Hornsby on piano, Noel Gallagher on vocals and guitar. (I wanted to avoid saying all 4 members of the Beatles!!!)

Ask me the same questions on a different day and you'll get mostly different answers!

1) Who's the most talented Beatle?
Objectively: Macca. He could play every damn instrument, including drums and, apparently did play drums on a couple of Beatle recordings. But, really… the whole was greater than the sum of their parts. And, generally George has written most of my favorites.

2) What individual has contributed the most to popular music post Buddy Holly? Is it Bob Dylan or somebody else?
Certainly Dylan is up there. And, since this is INDIVIDUAL and not band, The Beatles don't qualify, right? Okay, so struggling to think of somebody who has contributed as much as Bobby Z. and I can't. It is Dylan. Yeah.

3) Name a song you wish you never heard.
"Somebody Done Somebody Wrong Song." It just gets lodged in my head and then never, ever goes away for a very long time. Not a terrible song, but certainly not a great song by any means either. I just want it to stop.

4) If they held a huge Live Aid style concert this summer, who would be the best choice out of active artists to be the headlining act?
Taking into account simply popularity: Taylor Swift.
Adding what I like into the equation PLUS popularity, both: Daft Punk, maybe? (there ain't a lot that I like that is really all that popular)

5) If you could get together a 4 piece band consisting of anybody alive or dead, what 3 players would you choose to be in that band with you?
David Kling -- drums (he is my current drummer and a good friend)
Nick Lowe -- bass/vocals
Brian Eno -- keys/production

How's that?
