I do know The Who were first "The High Numbers".
After enough times of being asked 'who are you?'
"the high numbers" "the who??" they probably decided 'fuggit, this is easier'
The BEATLES went through a couple of name changes...
There was Johnny & The Moondogs.
Of course, their original incarnation as performers; The Quarrymen,
one of whom, Pete Shotton, formed that band with John Lennon,
the same Pete who came to my home and saw that it is Lennon I channel.
I'm surprised you didn't include The Who in this quiz.
Or The BEATLES, but I guess a lot of people are familiar
with the different incarnations The BEATLES went through
before arriving at the station to pandemonium.
And an unrelated bit of trivia;
fans of Phil Collins, have fun looking for Lil Phil
in the performance on stage final sequence of A Hard Day's Night
starring The BEATLES.
Yeah he was a schoolkid, Phil Collins was, and is in that audience.
Screaming like a girl no doubt.
They all were screaming. You almost felt left out not to.
Meanwhile the band on stage was like
"We can't hear, but fuggit, we're lip synching!"
They were for that.
Original Title to their follow up Movie, "HELP!"
was "Eight Arms To Hold You".
There is no BEATLES song called Eight Arms To Hold You.
There is however a BEATLESEX song called that,
maybe we'll whip up a new version one day,
I don't fancy the old versions, they're not doing the song justice.
Yes, if you get hold of an old Capitol release of "Ticket To Ride"
it says on it,
"From The Film 'Eight Arms To Hold You' "
Makes you wonder what THAT movie woulda been like.
