Cool; I like polls like this and the first 3 bands are all in my Top 10 and 5 of the others would be strong candidates for my Next 15, but I am gonna have to think about this and get back to you..
In the meanwhile, my All-Time fave band is The Moody Blues with #1 Album "Seventh Sojourn" and #1 Song "Tuesday (Forever) Afternoon.

well you know, Todd, all Quizmo is trying to do is inspire a response. I realize there's some fun involved in chastising me, must be so or it wouldn't be done so often here.
Don't know how many here could generate a list of 10 favorite indie songs, unless they're station managers. I do notice that none of the ones you list that I know of are on this site, that's insulting. Well, Guided By Voices' main dude has a page here. Most of yours are what I'd call name indies, in that they have released records on major label subsidiaries.
but folks, it goes without saying, if you don't like the discussion posts I start, how about starting your own?
