Do you believe in ghosts or aliens?
I personally believe in both.

Well Hi Eve.
I see you have asked me a question, rather direct one; 'how do you know?'

Fair enough. I will tell you.

First of all, I don't think of the deceased as 'ghosts' per se,
they are souls, disembodied souls. They are not, or are not with me,
visually detectable apparitions. But they are there, I work with them. All the time.
This has been an ongoing factor in my life, since I was probably your age.
How old are you? 23 maybe? I'm guessing. I was 25 when I became aware
that I was channeling the soul of John Lennon. Everyone else saw it before I did,
I just thought I was 'playing the role' of John in a Beatle cover band.
Then they filmed a video of it, and I saw what it looked like. "holy shit, that's Lennon"

soon afterwards with this now in mind, that it really WAS Lennon,
I realized we had more important things to do, than play in a Beatle cover band.
So I quit that, and John began teaching me how to write songs. That was
the beginning of my real training... I mean, that's where I began to get really good
at it... I'd taught myself music, young, piano and was singing with it by 14.
Guitar and singing with it at 17.

and yeah, as time went on, people had one of two reactions,
they went "oh shit you sound just like Lennon!" when John was talking,
or it freaked 'em out...

in 2001, BEATLESEX (our band, originally it was just me and John,
after a while George died and joined us) hit the airwaves on mp3.com
a music site that pioneered the indie realm.
some people 'got' it, I mean, really all you have to do is know and/or
at all be familiar with him... but many remained in denial and simply
called me crazy. I even wondered if I might be. I wasn't though.

Because about ten years ago, John Lennon's boyhood friend, whose name is
Pete Shotton, came here to America, to New York, to our home,
and saw it for himself. It's John alright. Pete helped John form
his first group, The Quarrymen; that's actually the band that later Paul McCartney
joined, and the partnership went on to become one of the most historical forces
in popular music in modern times... Pete knew John, they were 'best mates',
since the age of 5. There was no way Pete was going to be fooled,
one way or the other. It either was or wasn't really John, Pete would find out.
So Pete came, and we first went all of us, me, my late wife Vanessa,
and our 'pet ghost' as we called him, John. Next thing you know,
we're all in Pete's hotel room writing a song, which once done, John played
acoustic guitar and sang. Pete said 'that's a pretty good song',
so we all came to the studio (in our home at the time)
and for seven hours or more, Pete watched while John and George and I
made the record "Between Here And There" by BEATLESEX
(which is on the BEATLESEX site here, you can actually hear the thing)
and when it was done, and we released it to the world,
Pete said this to John:

"You bastard.
You knew. You knew didn't you.
You knew that if I saw you work, I'd know it's you."
Lennon laughed (do you understand what 'channeling' is, Dear? John is
able to 'occupy' and 'use' my body... is basically how it works)
and then said to Pete:

"I've only been trying to tell you that for two fuckin' Years, Shotton"

So that's ghosts. People don't just stop existing when they die.
They just shed the physical body.

As for aliens....

Yeah, I have known that since 1975.
Good ten years before I knew I had John Lennon hanging around me.

Hawthorne, NY, the boarding school where only one year later
I would meet the girl who became my wife of 26 years before
she died of cancer, Vanessa.

It was nighttime. A clear night sky. Fairly warm, so, around
the vicinity of summertime.
All of a sudden, from the farthest North horizon,
I saw a distant blip of light. It was way way way up there,
very far away. But all of a sudden, far away as it was,
it moved, insanely quickly. And it stopped. Right, literally, right above me.
It had come from way over there, zip, to right above me,
yet, keep this in mind, still miles up there. Not close by any means,
and yet, it did, stop, right directly above me, still way way way way up there.

I don't know what kind of flying crafts we may have now,
but I know we did not have anything like that then,
that could travel that fast.....

and the speed at which this thing, came from
the Northern horizon, to right directly miles above me,
was impossible. For anything we had.

After pausing above me as it did, it suddenly shot off now to the East.
In almost a perfect ninety degree angle.
Came from the North, paused above me, sped off East.
Sped off doesn't even describe it, literally it took off like a shot.

As you may realize, the farther a flying craft is from the Earth,
the slower it will appear to go, because you're seeing a very large distance.

And again, this thing moved like nothing we had then could possibly move.

It was not from around here. That much was obvious to me.
Therefore, it was from someplace else. And I'm guessing
the damned thing had a driver.

And yeah, Angels are real....

My wife was an Angel.

and... hmmm.... at a quick glance,
safe to say Ted Cruz is a demon.

Even that guy John Boehner called him out,
called him "Lucifer in the flesh".

Well anyway,
that's how I know.
Experience is a good teacher.

By now I can pretty much recognize
both Angels and Demons among us...

they each have a pretty distinct aura.

And that old adage of
'keep your friends close, keep your enemies closer' isn't always quite so true.
Be thankful for the Angels that pass your way,
and avoid the hell out of the Demons that pass your way.
Is my rule of thumb.

Have an enlightening day, Eve.
God Bless, Much Love, ~Lesley

Ken, I agree with you.

I have seen ghosts and angels.

My advice: Whenever you realize that you have the ability that you are part of the minority who can actually feel them, turn around and forget about it.

I have been living in a haunted house in PA and could write 100 books about my experiences (not good ones..). I somehow think, and it is logical that artists are creative and the ones who are best equipped to sense ghosts, but I enjoy concentrating on only actual human beings. The ability to sense ghosts is like the ability to drive 1 million miles per hour, but it's not good to have this speed driving in the wrong direction.

All the best

EM

American Lesley Jane, thank you for sharing this story. I really enjoy to witness that we are all likeminded people and the pipeline has made my days bright for some time now. You know that I was serious about a gig someday. The last year has been probably the worst I had but that doesn't mean that better times around the corner. A gig in the Bronx would be cool.
