Japanese Anime before Speed Racer even was around I think...
Tobor, a cartoon being,
was actually a robot, that's what Tobor is, it's 'robot' spelled backwards!
Tobor, was the first shape shifter I know of in popular culture,
Tobor could change, from one person, into another. Just -zzzipp- like that.
It was an interesting show. Wonder if any of that is on youtube.
It's amazing the things you can find on youtube.

to check this out. Incredible... I got the theme running through my head,
a mental recording (I have a phonographic mind) from literally
the last time I heard it, some time in the 1960s as a kid.
