Can one of you music people explain something for me?
About 2 weeks ago a song started playing in my head that I haven't heard for at least 10 years, it was the Beatles song I Want To Tell You. It's one of George;s. Now i can't get it out of my head no matter what. I want to tel you my head is filled with things to say. Why would a song come into your head out of the blue, that makes no sense?

Its one of life's big mysteries. It happens to me all the time. It suggests that somewhere in your subconscious that song has been playing and waiting for an opportunity to come out. The whole concept of music is very mysterious. Where does it all come from? Well, most of mine comes from my head. I hear it first and then I play it. Basically that means that I pull it from out of the air or somewhere. Some call it a gift and others call it a curse. I call it my pulse as just like my physical pulse, it is always there somewhere waiting to overtake my attention and dominate my time. I believe that there is a frequency out there somewhere that most songwriters have the innate ability to tap into. Much in the same way that songwriters can tap into that frequency, so can others that don't write or play music. The result can often be a song from the past that has been waiting for you to acknowledge it. Of course, this is just my humble theory and I have no proof of it.
