Why do there have to be 2 kinds of football?
Why can't the blokes just call soccer soccer?

Three kinds. Don't forget Australian Rules Football.
Uh oh. You might need some stronger meds now.

You're all wrong, there's 4, you forgot about Rugby Football, where American Football started when a boy at Ruby School, England, first picked the ball up in and ran with it !

Well five actually as Rugby divides into Rugby League and Rugby Union (and the public school story is just a myth to keep union for the posh boys)

It's 6 now Mr Confusion because Gaelic football is an Irish/American thing I believe unless I'm mythtaken :)

Also, there's an ever surging popular thing called "flag football". We use to call it "Sissy ball", I prefer American Football but some would say that I am overtly violent. I love blood sports. I find nothing more entertaining than seeing someone getting knocked on their ass and carted off the field on a stretcher with blood dripping a trail as they go. Now, that's real football!
