Is anti-intellectualism becoming dominant in American culture?
It seems to be so in music, and politics, and media. What do you think?

Your inquiry is easy to answer on a couple of topics.
Look up Flat Earth on youtube.
Then, mention Global Warming on FB.
As far as music, though, I'm not sure intellectualism ever really existed in mainstream music. I'm pretty sure the intellectual music has generally been fringe groups.
Media - anti-intellectual - It seems there are still dominant news groups who do nothing to curb or diffuse the perpetuation of trending stigmata coalescing around scholarly individuals/advocates.
Megyn Kelly is seriously hot as fuck, tho, haha

Other than a few periods in the classical/orchestral realms, early electronic, and hardcore jazz music eras, the only real period of pure intellectualism in music was from about 1966 to 1975. It never really fully recovered after disco.
