Saddam excecuted, we should have a 3 day mourning
Former president Ford died the other day, Bush has planned a 5 day mourning, and most of America is in grief.
Well, Saddam is dead, announced officially. I think the world should have a 3 day mourning, and reflect upon the upcoming events that are going to unfold in Baghdad.
Saddam was a dictator, Putin is a dictator, the Korean, the Chinese, and many other presidents are dictators. Most presidents have killed many people, including the North Korean, the Russian, etc. Moreover, Iraq was invaded based on a lie.
So, why was Saddam excecuted? Killing innocent people, many presidents are still doing that, not caring about the human rights. If Iraq hadn't been invaded, Saddam wouldn't have been given that fake trial, because the Chinese, Russian, and North Korean presidents also need to be given similar trials if that's the reason why Saddam is dead.
Let the army give him a salute, and let the world declare a public holiday marking the death of a hero, at least he was a hero because the people dead and those dying in Iraq today would still be alive is he were still on the seat.
Damn, lets all stand in respect to him..........................

Here are some important points from critics across the world:
"So why did George Bush decide to invade Iraq? Nearly four years and hundreds of thousands of casualties later, the reasons appear both as obvious and as elusive as they were in the spring of 2003.
The official reasoning was always straightforward. Key among the claims included in the so-called Iraq War Resolution passed by Congress in October 2002 was that Iraq “poses a continuing threat to the national security of the United States and international peace and security in the Persian Gulf region”. It added that Saddam’s regime harboured chemical and biological weapons and was seeking to develop a nuclear arsenal.
But if the alleged threat of WMD was based on manipulated intelligence – some provided by Iraqi exiles such as Ahmed Chalabi’s Iraqi National Congress - what else motivated the US? Many remain convinced the overwhelming factor was a desire to control Iraq’s oil supplies, the second largest proven reserves in the world.
Such a view has been reinforced by recent recommendations of Iraq Study Group which said: “ The United States should assist Iraqi leaders to reorganise the national oil industry as a commercial enterprise, in order to enhance efficiency, transparency, and accountability."

I'm kind of busy right now, paying homage to real heores and giving thanks to all those that have made it possible for me to be here; and for you to further your education here. Surely you know some that are more worthy of your time.

Well,
I see how angry people are when they hear the name of Saddam. But ask yourself, if you equally heard about the atrocities commited by the North Korean president, if you heard about the China president and the inhumane treatment his people get, if some bastard gives you information about the Russian Kremlin's kind of rule, you will hate the guy as much as you hate Saddam.
Actually, if some asshole gave you a rundown of the atrocities commited by the Israeli regime to the Palestinians, you will also hate the Israeli leaders with such passion. What one needs is just to give information to the majority in order to make them accept his stupid decision. Many leaders are assholes, but no one hates them. You know why? Because no similar assholes have attempted to expose their atrocities to the world.
So, yeah, Saddam did many things to the Iraqis, but so has the North Korean leader, so have many leaders. America attacked him because he "aledgedly" possessed weapons, which have never been found. After missing the weapons, the leader decided to justify the attack by focussing on his injustice.
Well, Saddam is a hero to many, but is also an asshole to many, just as Bush is a hero to many Americans, but an asshole to almost every other country in the world.

True, I can't argue the point that there are others who unmercifully torture their own people and treat some as third-class citizens. I wish they could all be eliminated.
I can't grasp this notion of no WMD when it has been noted that Saddam used mustard gas on the Shiites. Seems if you can gas a few hundred thousand people, I would call that WMD. As long as it took for the inspectors to be allowed back in, time was plenty for Saddam to haul other items across the border. And its been reported that he gave monetary rewards to terroists.
