Fans...?
I would really like to have a better contact with people who actually listen to my music. I don't know if I can already tell that I have fans...? I feel kinda weird just thinking about the fact I might have fans, but...I do, maybe?
Anyway, I'd like that. I'd like to talk to people more, maybe I should also add more topis here, to let people know what I'm doing, right?

Hi DeMonicka, good query, so i have added your music to a few of my stations, I believe to my more ambient station Atmosphere, your music is very compelling and enjoyable. I will have to visit your page again and listen up
I will swing by sometime soon when time. I am sure you have fans here , I am one, and enjoy your unique style and ideas and songcrafting. perhaps visit some of the station managers pages personally thanking them,. or do start up your own station, unless you have one already. maybe do a listening group thing and get together a number of artists here to check each others music out. reach out perhaps and do a post on the people who have been nominated for Golden Kayaks. and they may in kind post on your page and check out your music
I will post on your artist page now
cheers
keep making your groovin music

oh you do have fans. I'm one, and Evie who turned me on to you is surely one.
Your way with words would be a great addition to this pipeline. I encourage you to speak out whenever you don't want to hold it in. and don't feel like there's any limit to what kind of ground you can cover. My online life was molded by my first experience in a community like this, it was at the original mp3.com and the one thing I remember so well about that place is that there were always different seeds sprouting up, there is a growth that takes place in an environment of creative people and that's what artists do - change for the world to see.

How do you define a fan?

According to the Merriam-Webster Dictionary, a fan is "a device that is held in the hand and moved back and forth to cool a person and that is usually shaped like a segment of a circle and composed of material (as feathers or paper) mounted on thin rods or slats moving about a pivot so that the device may be closed compactly when not in use"

I guess your definition of 'cool' is the one used here too.

Anyway, back to the topic, if a fan is just someone who likes your music, then that is great, but for me it is a bit more obsessive, whether Beatlemaniacs or the modern equivalents on social media who want more and more of someone who early on in their career becomes a commodity. I think that kind of fan contributes to mental illness and a very unhappy narcissism unless the performer is very strong.
