new song
I've just posted a new song. It's been the first visit to the studio for a while. I hope you like it. Opinions are welcomed.

Your song: "Wolf" is amazingly original and atmospheric. I was hooked from the first note to the last. It's so visually and emotionally evocative. Musically and lyrically, it weaves a spell that is both seductive and haunting. All of your work is stellar and I'm shocked that you don't have a recording contract!!!! What are record companies looking for if not you??? I hope you eventually get the success that you deserve.

What a great opening to the song, reminds me of Billy Holiday, the drama and tone in the vocal, atmospheric, and evocative.
Kinda mysterioso, haunting, and well-grounded with the "wolf" in the chorus.
A shapeshifting extravaganza....

Thanks all! Richard, I have concluded that record companies and music business people generally are not interested in the likes of me. I am not convinced that I could really achieve much, but anyway, there is no chance.
When have you heard from someone in the music industry having a look at an indie site? It is so much easier to get someone singing ‘my heart will go on’ on Belorussia’s got talent, make them famous for ten minutes and then move on to the next one. It is not a question of not being able to get in the door. The door has been removed and the frame bricked up.

There's a TV show here in the States called "Songland" that features singer-song writers pitching their songs to to well known artists like John Legend. (there's a different famous artist every week) You can get an application to the show online. It requires that you move to LA for 8 weeks (at their expense of course) Sometimes you have to create your doors. Don't underestimate your chances. (Actually I think you could win the "Voice." - they love "unique" voices)

Well, Richard's mention of a show called "Songland" piqued my interest.
That may be a potential format for a song like "Wolf", and I think that song could bring down the house.
My two cents...(would love to see you on tv also)...
p.s.
every so often a startling talent comes to the fore, in spite of the music biz penchant for commodifying the latest trend... one of the surprising aspects of F. Scott Fitzgerald (The Great Gatsby) is how diligent/conscientious a promoter of his own work he came to be, tho it prob'ly contributed...to his drinking problems...
It's a tough nut to crack...bubbles are floating over my terrace at the moment, gotta go see what's goin' on...

btw, I totally love the song. It was reminiscent in some ways to songs from one of the greatest female artists ever, the one and only Zeeza.

@Francesca ~ Your song, "Wolf" has the power to break through that brick wall.
You have the voice, the talent, the look and the songs to meet the modern criteria for success. If I had all those things, I would never give up until I made it. Use the gifts that you were blessed with and don't let the system defeat you.
There are so many successful artists who got where they are by being strategic and aggressive. Many of them lack what you have but they accomplished their goals by pushing and pushing and not taking no for answer.
I don't know if you have legal representation but with a demo like "Wolf" an entertainment lawyer could get you a deal in my opinion. Sometimes a "single song deal" can lead to much more. Let the Wolf get you in the door. He has sharp teeth and will not be denied.
My wife and I listen to the song all the time. It's a hit. Go out and make it happen. If one of us makes it, it's an inspiration for us all. Your generation is the future. Your music can define it.

Great song by a good hard working person. I really liked it maybe you should go into the studio more do an ep. Use crowd funding to pay for it. You have one studio song already.
