New Song, "What's it Coming To?"
As the title says, this is a song I just recently uploaded to IMP. It's fairly short and simple, yet unconventional in its own way. At least that's my take on it. I'd appreciate getting other people's thoughts.

It has a mysterious vibe. I thought it was pretty good, angsty. Nice minor chords.

Thanks! I'll have to give that a shot next time.
I'm glad to hear you liked the vibe of the song. "Mysterious, angsty" are spot on descriptors for what I'm going for.

Gave it 2 listens...
It's got a cool "raw" vibe to it...
Wouldn't mind hearing it a bit more polished up... sounds like the drums could give it a tribal feel if you wanted that.
Over-all nice effort I liked it.

Interesting work in progress. I like the lyrics a lot and I think it would all hang together a little better if there was a steady phat 4/4 kick drum going all the way through the song with no snare. I agree with Jeff that the tribal thing is the way to go with this song.

Thanks guys! I agree about the production, especially where the drums and bass are concerned. I put both of those together artificially after the guitar and vocals had previously been composed, so it was tricky figuring out how to work those elements in without feeling tacked on. I kind of hear the drums more like a giant clock ticking down, but the tribal direction is a good way of thinking about it too.
