A newbie introduction
G'morning.
I found this site last night and it seems to have lots of interesting new music in it!
Please check ours - punk from the wild north, Finland.

Great, thanks!
My plan for today is to study how the stations work and how they can be used.

Verity has a pretty good instruction set on how to start one here.

Created my first station and added a couple of songs there! A couple of my own and Father Time's Everybody's Into Their Own Thing - a great tune. Reminds me of 1960's pop-melodies but adds nice powerful guitars like 1990's "pop-punk" - a pure gold combination. That song has a huge potential!
Next step - to build audience for my stations and songs :)

I started to think about "indie music" and the reasons why I and my mates want to stay independent.
Well, it is obvious that we lack talent, skills and dedication to "make it" :D
F.U. started as a fun project, we recorded our fist EP before our first band rehearsal, our bass player started to play bass a couple of months later - and he did not play any instrument before that. We just had fun in my home studio, wrote and recorded a couple of songs and... Yes, alcohol was involved and consumed. That was 2 years ago.
We have stayed with those habits. We have recording sessions, song writing sessions and absinthe sessions. Bassist practises a lot with his instrument and also studies a bit of recording and engineering. We play already a lot better than in the beginning and the main goal in mixing & mastering is no longer to hide all the playing errors. Sometimes, when everything just clicks, we can sound like a real band!
Our goal in music is to realise ideas, nothing more. And here we talk about independency: we prefer to make all decisions ourselves, to do everything ourselves! We are open to listen to feedback and suggestions, but we can also explain and argue why certain things are done our way!
Financial success? No such dreams. Of course everything is released and if there is ever any revenue, all of it will be spent on new studio equipment and/or instruments.
And absinthe.

Ideas and communication thereof are the point, really.
