I generally avoid posting songs on the weekends because it takes a while before folks will hear them.

I have somehow come to believe that the best time is 10 AM on weekdays but I don't think I have any real basis for believing that.

I agree, FT. That give folks plenty of time in the day for folks to catch a song and possibly review it or add it to a station. Toward evening, dinner and TV watching seem to take over. I usually log on to the computer right after breakfast and coffee when I'm fully awake and eager to see what's happening at IMP.

I'm not sure about this one but I believe that midweek mornings get the best responses for me. I have no data to back that up but it seems like more people catch my releases when I do it midweek. This seems to be true for me net wide even on my main website. If I post a song midweek (Wed. AM) by the weekend it seems that it has been listened to the most.

I do it when I feel like it there is no magic formula or time that is right or special sometimes when I am sleepy and or wide awake. sometimes I do it with a cup of coffee, but not a cigarette, occasional with a glass of wine or if I am grouchy some scotch. most times I go and check out the site, review the songs people upload, do a lot of listening, perhaps add songs to my stations, maybe make a comment on the pipe
