Do any IMP indie artists sell sheet music?
Especially David Nyro for "Anything" and Richard Scotti for "Everything About You." My wife is visiting her family in California for a few more weeks and I would love to be able to play these on the piano and sing to her upon her return home to me. David, she mentioned that she especially loves "Anything!"
DeMonicka, are you here as well? I would also love the sheet music to "21st Century." This was one of my earliest station songs, so Lenore has heard it many times and began to sing along. Finally, I had her come into my den so she could see all the lyrics on the screen. She wants to go on "The Voice" and sing it! Ha ha, tongue in cheek here. The Voice is not generally in the market for "baby boomer" women. Lenore has a nice voice, but nowhere near pitch perfect like you and Francesca!
If people don't sell sheet music, then can you direct me to the lyrics (or I can type them out)? What would be mostly helpful is to just know what chords you use. I am trained in reading sheet music, but can also play by ear. Thanks everybody!

Well I seriously doubt it, the means for that is above our pay grade I say. But if it's any consolation, you did inspire me to photoshop up one for myself. :D

Ha ha; nice! Was Walmartville the final destination of the Yellow Submarine? So, Scott one cannot "tag" a person here like FB, right? If I wanted David and Richard's sheet music (or song chords) should I have put their names in the header of my post? Should I just go to their artist pages and post my question?

@MLT2 MIchael ~
I'm pleased that you like my song as much as you do. For future reference, you can get the words to any song on IMP by clicking on the title of the song on the artist song page. Some artists choose not to post their lyrics but most do. If you clicked on the title of my song on my page you would see the words I've posted below.
I play completely by ear and I have no idea what how to read music and have never used sheet music in my life. I'm sure that you can find someone who can tell you what the chords are just from hearing the song. This song was written and copyrighted a long time ago and the music is a blur to me now as far as the technical aspects of it. I just play what I feel and I don't try to learn or memorize the words or the music because I don't perform my songs live. When I create a song, I capture a performance on the computer and then I shape it and arrange it through digital editing. The singers I work with learn the song simply by listening to it. I also record my voice as a reference vocal. Then I move on. Thank you for your interest in the song and for all your enthusiastic support of IMP and it's artists.
EVERYTHING
TIME CAN DISAPPEAR
BUT I WILL STILL BE HERE
SO PLEASE DON'T BE AFRAID
MY LOVE WILL NEVER FADE
THEN LET ME SHOW YOU HOW I FEEL
'CAUSE YA KNOW I CAN'T CONCEAL
THAT I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT YOU
AND EVERYTHING YOU DO IS EVERYTHING TO ME
CAN'T YOU SEE
TOGETHER OR APART
WE'RE TWO SPIRITS WITH ONE HEART
WE PLAY UPON THE STAGE
LIKE WORDS DANCE ON A PAGE
AND NOW I UNDERSTAND
HOW LIFE AND ART GO HAND IN HAND
'CAUSE I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT YOU
AND EVERYTHING YOU DO
IS EVERYTHING TO ME
CAN'T YOU SEE
THEY SAY LOVE CAN'T LAST FOREVER
I DON'T BELIEVE THAT IT'S TRUE
'CAUSE THEY DON'T KNOW
ME AND YOU
AND THAT I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT YOU

Thanks so much Scott! As you can see, I am still learning all the wonderful things to be discovered here at IMP and how to use it to the full. Once I am a fully off Facebook, by the end of the month at the latest, I will have more time. And then once college football season ends (and especially my NE Cornhuskers) I will have more time for indoor endeavors during the winter months. I do want to begin building more stations here at IMP about mid-October. They will all start with the word "Groovy" as sort of my calling card. I will plan to make 25 song stations with themes, and the first one I want to do is "Groovy Love Songs."
I have a very big yard being on a corner lot, and to keep it mowed, the bushes and tree trimmed, landscaping, and weeds killed, etc. is now more work than ever for old, fat man. Thank you sir!

Thanks so much Richard! If you captured the song on the computer and used digital editing, wouldn't that computer program reveal the chords or at least the key signature? The key signature alone would help me to figure out the chords. If not, I can bring my keyboard into my PC room and listen to your song and emulate it on my keyboard and figure it out eventually.
I took piano lessons for about 5 years as a child. When I was in high school they starting publishing piano/guitar sheet music books for my fave artists. When I discovered I could play songs from The Moody Blues, The Beatles, and The Bee Gees, that is when I really got turned on to the piano. I still have all those books and play from them. When I was in high school I took some more lessons, and primarily learned all the relationships between all the chords in the Circle of Fifths. As a junior psychology student I took an intro music theory course with the freshman music majors, just for the fun of it. After I got married I took a course at the University of Nebraska called "Piano Design and Mechanics." I learned about all the inner workings and parts of the piano. We got into piano regulation and tuning and I loved it and got a non-credit A+ in the course. I would have loved to be a musician, but I see how difficult it must be to make a living doing it.
As you see from my reply to Scott, my next IMP station with be "Groovy Love Songs." It will of course, include my #2, and two #3 All-Time Love Songs on my current station. My #1 from The Moody Blues, "For my Lady" can't be here as they are not indie artists. To build that station, I'll write a Pipeline post asking the IMP artists for their best love songs.
Thanks for posting your lyrics here and for your help! I will copy/paste them to MS Word and then add the chords as I figure them out. Like you, I don't need the melody notes, as the brain synapses have already been formed for those!

The song is in 4/4 time - the key of G, I think. I hope this helps you! I don't have anything on my computer that indicates chords. I'm sure there is software for that but I don't have it. Good luck!

Great; thanks Richard! If I figure out the chords, I will let you know! With only one sharp, the key of G is one of the easiest to play on the piano! G being the tonic or 1st, C being the sub-dominant or 4th, and D being the dominant, or 5th. (I think I remembered that correctly; it has been a while!)
