Sometime you just get the run around
FB ain't that special I've been locked out for the last 2 days. Around and around we go with no where to go. I'll try again tomorrow for the umteen'th time to create a new FB account. Pray for me. I have to get in there 'cause I can't get into FB groups that I manage. They must all think that I've died.

It started yesterday morning when zuckerland suspended my FB account for 30 days for for breach of contract with regards to their Tems of agreement.
As far as I know I don't no why. I might have to serve my full sentence.
Like I said, I'll try again tomorrow.
If that does'nt work I may ask you or Scott to write a message on the " Desperado Tornado Music " group explaining to the members that I'm in FB jail for another month.

Sorry to hear this Norm, that is a big bummer, I have suffered of their system as well ,Facebook, lost my artist page , went up in smoke, evaporated, I had for over ten years a few months ago, it just disappeared.One day I logged in to my regular FB account which was tied to the artist page and when logging in to get to it, it was gone I tried getting in touch about 40 times to various places in their system, but gave up, I had so many followers and contacts and sent out emails on a regular basis, . Something happened, but dont know what or why , I have not started a new one since it takes so much work. kinda bummed out
but facebook is weird these days

I got a bunch of security violation messages for posting Happy Birthday messages. Zuck's bots are completely out of control. Let me know if you need me to post. Heck. I might do it anyway! :D

I have a genealogy facebook page for our surname and I appointed a couple of others to be admins just in case something happened to me or a problem occurred.

OK. Well looks like I'll have to serve my Zucker sentence.
I think I know why. I posted an Alanis Morrissette video (of all people) wich got me suspended for 3 days. I said fuck them and reposted the video, thus the 30 day suspension.
Larree, I thought I had pre-approved your posts. will take care of this when I get out of jail. In the meantime, look up Gurt Just Jensen (Denmark - music teacher) and send him a message explaining my situation, ask him to post something explaining that I'm in Zucker jail for a month.

Sorry for your situation Norm. Is FB saying you need permission from the record company to post that video? Don’t ppl post all kinds of stuff
on YouTube without permission. I don’t really keep up with these things.

Yes, people post all kinds of stuff on YTube.
When it comes to music, if an artist does'nt want his music posted there he or she or they will get their lawyers involved to get the post removed. As far as I'm concerned until the post is removed it is fair game.
They're just pissed off at me because I stood up to them. That's the rebel in me.

Fb is like communist China now all social scores and shit like that. it,s judging u by algorythms and Ai. If someone puts up there music on the internet i can't see who a link thru is affecting them in anyway. Not as though your claiming the music to be yours. Your just linking to it i can't see how a link infringes any copyright. They get paid from ad revenue from YT anyway what they moaning about some people

I don't have too much trouble with facebook aside from their malgorithms that make it so my friends don't see my songlinks for days after I post them.
Back in the old FT days I got banned all the time. Once I was banned from the indie music site Ampcast before I even joined. They pre-emptively banned me due to FT's bad reputation. :D

I know a lot of people in FB jail. Most of them deserved it but some were obviously being picked on for their political slants and rants. There is not much fairness in how they do what they do. But hey, in case nobody ever told ya, life is not now nor ever has been fair. You just take the bad with the good and hope for the best. That is something that I teach all of the kids in my family. Life is not fair so don't expect fairness. There wlll always be someone who will misjudge you or your deeds by some self held prejudicial belief. Not fair, but it is life. Remember its Facebook not Fairbook. It's their shit and their rules.

say Norm I have known of 2 people banned forever . mostly they send warnings, then jail, I have known many who have been in FB jail like 6 times , or suspended for a long time, but to be banned indefinitely and or permanently is crushing but not hard to believe these days, its their territory and I guess he who holds the gold rules.
Recently Meta aka FB and IG have updated and upgraded their terms and conditions in January 2022 and it has become a lot more limiting and they are not fooling around these days, cross them and they come down hard. As for posting videos and reposting after they are removed, they will act quickly, I had this happen on youtube 2 X to me.
Some video postings are not allowed I see in their conditions it says
"You may not be able to post or access videos containing music in every country of the world"
anyways. I dont use FB much anymore, a little on instagram, it is a time waster for me and eats up ones day. I have a lot of other things I try to do, but yes it is amazing how many hours pass when one is on their computer, it is something I am trying to limit in my life.
somehow I hope you can find another place to hang out,
at least you have IMPNATION Norm and your music stations and the community here supporting you
