I wish Love wasn't like Rocks
It is said that we need to first love our selves before we can love anyone and I honestly believe that. People are inclined to hurt those they love more than anyone.
That does not mean that hurtful behavior should ever be interpreted as care. That was the idea behind the lyric of "I wish love wasn't like Rocks." Douglas Haines did a wonderful job with the tender way, he sang this song.

I was feeling a little down today and after listening to this song, it put me in a better place but generally that is what music does. It lifts my spirit, I guess that was the reason, I started writing lyrics and this song is a reminder of the way love should be.

Hey, I am grateful for a place that I can share my thoughts behind my lyrics and I hope someone might benefit from my songs as much as they've helped me through some tough moments.
