Freedom of Drink

The Issue: Freedom of Drink
Have our public officials come to a point where we have become so paranoid that it is necessary to restrict people from drinking water or any fluid in public. I was told that I could not leave a music venue last night with my purchased bottled water. It was half full and I was made to chug it in order to leave. Basically I was told that I am not allowed to take water out onto the street. I understand that some people throw trash on the ground, but let's get real people, it was stretch not allowing people to drink something they paid money for, such as a drink at a bar, and take it out on the street, but now water? Seems a bit extreme. No free country should restrict at this level, it's just plain unconstitutional. Not that I would ever make a scene because of this, but I think it backs my point in a strange way. My point is that we have become so accustomed to having our rights infriged upon, that we allow our officials at all levels of goverment to take advantage of our rights under the constitution. Just something to think about next time you buy an ozarka spring water bottle.
till next time...

I am with you on this one, but you know, I am beginning to think that someone, somewhere is going to have to emerge to help get us fired up to fight for our rights. In the 60s we had leaders that stepped up and lead a generation into the History books because of a WAR, I hope it happens soon ! :)
Great topic !
