"The Decider", a political commentary by "the Green"
Political Blog: 4/21/2006

Topic: George W. Bush, "The Decider"

As many of you know, I am a graduate of the Bush School of Government and Public Service at Texas A&M. Unfortunately, because of the actions of our current president, I truly need to clarify that it's Daddy Bush's school i'm talking about. Wow, what a difference between the two. One, a decorated war vet and honor student who helped bring down the berlin wall, the other a C student who sunk the Texas Rangers shortly before sinking our country to new lows. Nobody knows why our President lets the words come out that do so often and so often get him in trouble. How about his latest antics. He is the self proclaimed "Decider", which allows him to leave the man who has cost so many lives in charge of our military. It's a shame W Bush has not figured out that this is not Baseball. There are real world consequences for bad decisions. I realize that he is just lining his buddies pockets at the oil companies by allowing things to escalate and tragedy to occur when they could be avoided over and over again. I for one question the integrity of this President's entire staff. Bush does have some of the same quirks as his dad, but his father had a common sense about him that was not passed down to W. Let's hope things turn around for this country soon. China is really on our tail, and our administration is not helping the cause with their hard line games. The reality is that a mere 33 percent of this country is behind the policies of this government. Too much talk, too little action from the White House and Congress. It's almost sad how bad this government has been run the past 6 years. Let's cross our fingers that we do not engage Iran militarily. This would be one of the big tragedies of man kind. There is something brewing in Iran, but we must deal with this peacefully, let's not allow our government to revert to our pre-iraq war propoganda of imminent danger. We have not finished securing the nations surrounding Iran, let alone would we be able to handle all three war zones at the same time. This would be ludacris. Let's hope our leaders, specifically "The Decider", can do right by the American people for once this century!

friends, I want to hear your thoughts...

till next time,

the green
