Truth In Music
In her words of Jane Fonda on her speech of this year's Golden Globe Awards: "But there's a story we've been afraid to see and hear about ourselves in this industry. A story about which voices we respect and elevate -- and which we tune out."
My choice of words on that speech by Jane Fonda are basically true. As independent artists, we've learned what life is all about. We speak TRUTH against LIES. We understand that way. In these unprecedented times, we always speak TRUTH. For what we learned, we must say that TRUTH is in God's hands.

As a Vietnam veteran, I don't listen to anything that Jane has to say. I cannot forgive her for her traitorous actions during the war. As far as I and the thousands of US soldiers that she betrayed are concerned, she can eat shit and die. Now, that truly is the truth.

A part of me wants to like her for her environmental activism. And I do. But then I think about Nam and all the Nam vets I know... and I too cannot forgive her for that chapter in her life. She was misguided and stupid to get sucked into supporting the communists. And that will always follow her.
