I've Experienced Low Self-Esteem
I'm always triggered with anger, rage, and low self-esteem. But truthfully, it was depressing. Jealousy and envy are the first ones. Can hardly breathe, but, I did beat myself up. I'll never ever have manic depression before. I need all my musical colleagues and fans to feel my pain. I'll be okay. Thank you all.

Man, I feel ya! Yeah, I have been there and back! Mental health is an important part of finding happiness. Personally, I sought help and received excellent care. I had to face my demons and destroy the hurt they were bringing me. I ran the full gamut. Drug addiction, (Heroin) suicide attempts, violent outbursts and even confinement. But, through the love of God and myself, I made it through and lived long enough to see a better day. To be happy and content with my life again. That was my goal and I achieved it. Once I did that, creativity exploded in all directions. I was infused with a gift to perform magic tricks. The magic of pulling tunes and melodies out of the air. That became my focus and it consoles my war weary soul. So, my advice would be to immerse yourself in your music. Let it be the consoling factor that controls your mood swings and inner thoughts. If that does not work. seek professional counseling. Do whatever it takes to make yourself happy. You only live once and you have to make the best of this precious life you have been given. Sometimes talking about it with someone that is neutral goes a long way towards emotional healing. I have seen some of the worst things that a human being should ever see. I cannot un-see those things but I can mitigate how they make me feel. Just as you can mitigate how some things make you feel. Your feelings are valid. They call it therapy. Trust me, it actually works brother. Just said a prayer for you. Prayer changes things. Trust.........

You're a talented musician/artist, Shawn...I've added your songs to a few of m'stations...
Find what expands your soul, and keep expressin' yourself...
Nikola Tesla came over from Serbia, with a degree in engineering. After working for Thomas Edison awhile, he fell on hard times, and worked as a ditch digger in NYC. He worked on his inventions in his spare time. He invented the AC polyphase motor in late 1800s, and what evolves into bringing electrical power to homes across the United States, to this day.
Don't confuse success with "the world's way..."
Good luck w your endeavors...
