Trying To Heal
I would like to reiterate that my life has been severely impacted since July 4th, as I lost my grandmother and my music career has been put on hold. I understand that the concept of loss and grief may be difficult to grasp, but I assure you that it has been incredibly painful. Despite the challenges, I have continued to prioritize my self-care and healing process. I am seeking advice from my supporters, musical colleagues, fans, and peers to help me navigate this difficult time. Your unwavering love and support has been invaluable, and I am determined to carry on and get back on track. Thank you!

Healing is a lifelong process, my friend. You have to take it a day at a time. You can have a string of good days, and then something will happen: you'll hear an old song, smell a familiar smell; remember some words - and it will hit you all over again. My parents and grandparents all died in the 20th century, and I still get triggered to tears sometimes. Cherish the moments.

My sincere condolences to you on your recent loss. The only advice I can give is to just keep living the life she always taught you to live. You are her legacy and as long as you remain true to that, time will eventually ease the pain of your loss. I have lost a lot of people over the years that i have been alive and only time has been a true healing factor. Trust! This to will pass. Sincere Respects, Stoneman

So sorry for your loss. In time the sadness will turn into precious memories and enter your music with the love you feel for them. Condolences.

So sorry for your loss. You will never truly heal and be free of sadness, but you will learn to cope and be thankful for the time you had together. I lost my Mom to cancer in 2009....I was relatively new to this site. It was a devastating time. I harnessed the sadness and transformed it into creativity. It allowed me to vent, but it was also a way to get my mind off the extreme sadness. I wrote and recorded two songs during this time relating to my Mom. "Mother Mary" and "Bye Bye Lullaby" ..both are posted here on my page. I wish you strength and healing. Take solace in the knowledge that your Grandmother wanted you to be happy above all else. That's how I try to honor my Mom each and every day. Kind Regards, Jeff
