Well I heard some Prince, I heard some Sly, and mostly I heard a lot of our hometown legend, the iconic Stoneman. You know, if this was the 70s he'd have been signed to Stax or Motown and we'd be hearing him every day we walked down the street.

That was a beautiful musical experience, and I definitely got more than my daily dose of funk. Sometimes Stoneman is playing in one key and singing in another, and that is WAY funky. Fun use of vocals. Gets you moving in your seat.
