Thoughts of the moment
Hi this is Gideon Blue and trying to write some new upbeat songs - hard as used to the prog rock bands of the 90's. New song - "Summertime" really simple and although not fully written the main thrust is around a guy who meets this new girl and every day is like summertime. Really excited about it but the boring bit is getting some of the guitars layed down. Base and drums are more or less there. This task is dry as it takes time to get the playing write when recording it - its fine when just playing the song saound but minute you start laying down the tracks I keep making mistakes. But I'm sure it will be worth it.
If you want to listen to a really well written album i would recommend Kasabian's new one. Takes a bit of time to get used to but very worth it.
Not a great Blogger as you can see, but will keep at it.
