IAC Mastering
Their Ad says it will take 7 days and it had been 22 days when I canceled my order and requested a refund. I contacted them a week prior to check on the status and didn't hear anything back. If they are too busy to offer this service they should take it off of their website.

I am very let down by this and was excited to hear the final outcome of the mastered song, but now I am hoping for my money back. Everyone on IAC (musicians) I am writing this to let you know my experience with this service.

Again if they can't fulfill their obligation than they should take the ad off the website. Maybe even contract it out to others that can offer it and complete it within the time frame.

I enjoy and appreciate IAC and have sent all my musician friends to them. This is the only bad experience I have ever had with IAC.

Support issues are frowned upon on the pipeline, however...if you are not getting a response I feel it is acceptable...

Can anyone help this gentleman?

I never got it.

I sent the song in to get Mastered April 20, 2009.

I sent it in thinking it would be back in 7 days (like the page said when I submitted it.) After seven days went by I thought maybe they were going to mail me a hard copy or something. I wrote them to ask how I would receive it (mastered song) and got a response back saying I would get it emailed.

So time went by and I stayed excited and patient. I sent another email on May 4, 2009 and nothing.

Today May 12, 2009 (22 days after ordering) I canceled my order and requested a refund.

Your were sent an email explaining that there was a backlog, and offering you the opportunity to cancel. We didn't receive a reply. Maybe this went into your junk mail?

Today we got your request to cancel and we issued an immediate refund, which you have received.

Support issues are not to be posted on the Pipeline.

Sorry that you didn't receive that message. You have received your refund as of yesterday, we show. If you would like to resubmit in a week or so, we expect normal turnaround to be resumed.

Wow, sorry you had a bad experience Logun. Sounds like either an email glitch or a just an old fashioned mixup!

Either way, it looks like this would be a great opportunity for the sharp folks running IAC to make the magnanimous (and shrewd) goodwill gesture of giving your tune a complimentary Mastering treatment, ...with the understanding that you'll then allow the before and after versions to be posted so we can all hear the difference.

This way, you get free mastering, and a bunch of folks checking out your tune, ...and IAC gets a PR/Customer Relations coupe, and a crap load of additional Mastering publicity and revenue generation.

And the community gets to see the difference the Mastering makes, some new and better sounding music from others to hear, ...a way to make our own music sound a little better, a stronger creative relationship with IAC...and that warm fuzzy feeling inside from seeing what a cool thing it is to be a part of IAC in action.

And all for the price of 15 bucks. I just may be a genius (...either that or a really transparent, self-serving, manipulative bastard who just wants to see another example of what the IAC Mastering process can do)

Bam's comment shows that he can learn from the Masters!

I think Bam needs more presence on the pipe. Um, don't read anything into that.
