I dreamt of China last night... passionate, intimate, invisible...
Seline's dreamy lyrics really fit in the song, I think. After two days in the studio with Breandan at the mixing table, we finished recording China, one of our newest (and favorite) songs. You will find pics of the session on our homepage (www.magnetfisch.org), the song itself is downloadable for free on myspace and several other portals on the web.
Recording songs is an always fulfilling, mostly exhilarating, yet sometimes exhausting process. First and foremost, it is a very emotional thing. Once work is done, anticipation comes and questions arise: what next?
I then tend to feel more vulnerable to what is sad in our lives (sickness of loved ones) and what is stressful in our world (environmental problems for instance, or violence). Still, there are plenty of reasons for rejoicing: Rossini's music for instance. By the way, did you know that this composer even invented delicious recipes?*
Go for it & take care
