We're trying to work out an issue we're having with the site software. Sorry if you experience any problems.

We have landed a large donation and placed an order for a site modernization overhaul, it may take as long as a month but then we will be set up for the future.
Hopefully the issue we've had in the last day will ease up - again, apologies for the inconvenience.

No apology necessary, Scott. Whatever it takes to make the site better, I am all for it! Thank you for everything, and thank you to whoever gave that donation!

I thought I owe you all an explanation because the last few mornings the problem issue has been happening.
I looked this post up and was surprised it occurred July of this year, seemed like a longer time because the site overhaul situation has been somewhat excruciating for me.
The guy who we've been using as webmaster, it took him a really long time to get started on the job which he said he could do in a month. After about 2 months he finally showed me a partial version of the new build which barely scraped the surface, I believe the guy underestimated the amount of detail. I've been working on him to duplicate the functional aspect of the site and he has become more distant. I estimate him to be around 2/3rds done with the site but from what I can tell he's not communicating with me anymore. I keep hoping he will show up in my email box still but that's seeming less and less likely. As it turns out since this was a job I contracted thru fiverr, I'm going to get refunded the down payment but fuck, he was getting it done and now I'm nowhere, the idea of starting over completely when that much was done makes me Ill.
so that's where we're at now, sorry. The site issue we're trying to get rid of only occurs one or 2 days a month but I will be picking up the ball again soon.

well just to be clear, we're only modernizing the framework which will prevent that occasional downtime we have, it will look the same. I am considering a few small function improvements but they won't be discussed til the switch is complete.
