Update from Road Home & new station banner, yippeee!!!!
Message from Howard Loftlin 'Zeke'
I have received just over 500.00 in donations from my friends on myspace and Music United For Animal's is helping us by sending CD's we can sell. It takes a village and in this case a global village to save a rescue. I am proud that we may not be one of those rescues that folds overnight and SCREAMS for help placing all of their animals. It costs a lot less to save a shelter than to close one in dollars and the time of the wonderful individuals that spend countless hours on myspace trying to place animals for a shelter that simply tried to exist and waited too long due to the hope in their hearts that help would come, then when the reality set in it was at the final hour. With tears in my eyes I Thank you all and implore you to send what ever amount you can to save the animals of domestic violence victims and animals and children of the Appalachian Mountains and the entire state of Tennessee, a very beautiful but poor state. Or goal was $8100.00 I have outlined the expenses on myspace blog and none includes any salary, I will continue to not get paid my meager wage for this cause! Details on how to give are above . The response to using JUSTGIVE instead of pay pal, (who takes part of your money,) for a transaction has been, "Very, fast and easy transaction." We have worked with JUST GIVE (a non-profit to help groups like ours with credit card transactions,) for years without a single complaint. I am sure part of that money came from this repost. No donation is too small for us. There is power in numbers. On behalf of the animals of Road Home Animal Rescue and the victims, animals and children of this very poor state I thank you. The animals do not know they are in danger. They eat, poop, romp and play! I dont want them to ever realize that danger. These animals have seen and experienced enough horror in their lives at the hand of humans. Now those human hands are saving their lives.
