introducing myself again
I am a working musician absent from imp for some years (old guy). I am very lucky to support myself with a mix of teaching playing and writing. Imp has changed a great deal in the time I was gone ( in a good way.)Quality of music and support of community seem much higher. Already blwn away by several of you. I appreciate being added to some great stations (thanks Bryon) but am still feeling my way into the community. This is not.an appeal to play my songs. If I can help anyone with tech ??s. I taught digital recording for many years. Also wrote a couple of guitar fretboard theory books for Mel bay. I hope to make this a better place by sharing, listening, writing, listening and listening.
Cheers Bb

Wow; I like your style and as Bryon said, your groove. I sampled all your songs and played Kings Throne and It Takes a Big Dog all the way through. Those two are my early faves.
I'm a non-artist listener and built my first station beginning in January and am still adding to it. With 2018 coming, I'll start building a station empire with all my stations starting with the word "Groovy." I'll have one called "Groovy Cool Jazz" eventually with you, Mr. Tosoff, and other artists yet not known to me.
It sounds like you are a fellow baby boomer? I'm a child of the 50's and teen learning music in the 60's. Groovy era, but this era might just be even groovier!
Whoa, I see you played with Spyro Gyra in 2006!!! Very nice plum on your resume, Mr. Balsley! I'd love to see you in concert with Willie Nelson, or Bryon Tosoff, or David Nyro, but especially with Norah Jones! She single handedly made Jazz one of my fave genres! Saw her in concert in Omaha on June 5, and still flying high from that one! Also from Whitherward coming here 3 weeks ago and playing 3 gigs in 2 days!
What a coincidence your initials are B.B. I could have visualized you on the same stage with the late, great B.B. King as well! Thanks for making your presence known here sir! I have written down your name. Best regards!

Thanks for kind words BUT what I believe is music binds us all together. Makes the world better. My finest and most ancient friends were forged by playing and creating with them that's why I love jazz and improvised music. I love musical interaction and would be honored to play collaborate, jam whatever you want to call it. It is the pulse of love and life and makes us all better. Sorry feeling kinda philosophical
Cheers
