About Lee:
1972: Begins study on acoustic guitar
1972-78. Begins serious attempts at song writing. Songs written: Beach on, Autumn turns,
Red flowers in the sun, Aged, among others. Meets Mark Knopfler in a studio in
Greenwhich - He is an encouragement. Catches Ralph Mctell in concert for the
First time - A life-long inspiration.
1979-83 Hundreds of songs learnt, Folk circuit playing, hospital radio show played, more
songs written.
1983-86 First songs recorded, stand in slot supporting Dougie Mclean, more songs penned,
meets and jams with Calum MaCcoll, son of Ewan, father of traditional folk song.
Catches John Mclaughlin, Al Di Meola, Paco De Lucia in concert, Toe dipped in
the waters of France & Ireland.Busking in London undertaken
1986-92 Various duo-combos, more song written/recorded, childhood friend Tony
Mcguinness of Aslan Fame has made it big in Ireland, Nick Fogarty of Academy
makes a dent, appearences for a Masonic lodge and the PTA undertaken.
92-2000 Interests turn to writing in the sci/fantasy genre. 2 & 1/2 books completed:
One blood Line To Elysium...The Glass Tower...The Blue Stone Of B'Roran.
Poetry written. Poem Bathsheba published. Recorded songs & music begin to get
listed. Huge musical transcriptions of work completed.
2000-006 Catalogue of songs added to CDs, More songs recorded and penned.
songs begin to appear on various releases of CD, Publishing deal signed with
Impact Music Ltd. Slot played at Danson festival, opens a night at the prestigious
High Barn Centre, Project of Music on the theme of World War One Completed.
Musical transcriptions for the work is now in progress....
