is metal really dead?
the i a c hitline consists of soft rock - hip hop - folk - and dirt cheap garbage rap. where if any did all the metal heads go? are you too busy getting high to check out new tunes? support REAL music. (not to say that other genres are fake(except rap)) all political correctness set aside, i surf iac on a daily basis and drop comments on pages because i dig the underground scene (well, that and it helps get me plays). but since when did metal get pushed out of the underground? i see a 'thrash' band up that sounds like punk and a hardcore group that sounds like a garage band. i want my metal MIDIEVIL - RAW - and WELL PRODUCED. so if your having trouble getting the sound right you can ask me for tips at sunstaydown@yahoo.com.
the bottom line is - metal is the underground. we created it. now our purpose SHOULD be treading the tides of woe to stab down the mainstream and spit in the face of conformity.
who says the underground is dead? go post a comment on your favorite metal page and support the metal underground!!!!

We're all for metal and hard music. Several of the recent feature artists of the day fit into that category. I don't think you really check out hitline that often because this statement is just not so.
"the i a c hitline consists of soft rock - hip hop - folk - and dirt cheap garbage rap"
Last week's #1 song on the KIAC Big 50 was a loud hard song called I Want My Gun. The current KIAC Big 50 has a bunch of songs in it you would probably enjoy, by Sender, Midnight to Twelve, As I Lay Dying, Rich Hannon, All the Brightness, Living Syndication, and Skewer
