perhaps squrly, you will consider reuploading your song "fly," also about extended wings...
The mockingbird gets its name from its ability mimic the songs of dozens of other birds, but it also has a beautiful song of its own. On one occasion, during an outdoor production of a symphony, a mockingbird added its own accompaniment to the flutist's portrayal of bird calls in the concert. Needless to say, the audience was delighted with the bird's mimicry...

Thanks for remindin' me again Squrly, that life IS much too short....
I actually put that in practice today and hung out with my family, and watchin' my daughters perform dance and movie makin' for a summer project their involved in BEFORE the job search and tonight as well.... hopin' to keep workin' at gettin' that balance better....
It's a TOUGH one sometimes, in this particular economic scenario.
But YES. Life is much toooooo short, so we MUST try and LIVE with passion & purpose & playfulness, eh?

Some days, life feels a bit long to me. I still can't believe all that has been crunched into this lifetime. Some days I feel like I've lived enough for 4 people.
Is life really over when we die? Or do we just continue on, in different form, like a caterpiller turning into a butterfly?
