All matter is destroyed eventually but.
All matter is destroyed eventually but it is just made into a new element. It is not destroyed it just changes state. However the one thing that seems to be indestructible is the soul. No-one really knows what it is or what it,s real function is. Who created it, it is far to complex to be hapenstance. Are we living in a pre-coded universe. Neutron stars, black holes and there ilk are far to violent to be from a benfecial creator. Why would it make such crazy things i ask you?

Good question there, Paul?
Only the Shadow knows...
Tho I will say, my understanding anyway, black holes anchor our galaxy, without 'em the milky way would fly off into space, and the sun would fly away from the earth...
cheers,

I think our universe is an illusion created by us. So we can cope with reality that is now time, gravity is our contructs not the universe,s. When you try and put a pin on it. Our maths falls apart you end up with just a bunch of atoms flying about with nothing ever happening. No neutron stars or black holes strange as an analagy

The mysteries of life are all up to conjecture. The soul? Well, what is our proof that there is such a thing? Can we see it and examine it in a laboratory? No. We only know what we feel when it is stirred by emotions like love. That is our evidence of so many things. Feelings. How do we know we are alive? We feel pain, love, hate, anger and so many other things that remind us daily that we are alive. But. the soul seems to be in a constant tug of war between the Yin-Yang of it all. It appears that the soul can only be identified by God. He seems to be the only one that can change it, save it or give it life. That is of course, if you believe the scriptures of the bible. Other than that, we know about as much about the soul as we do the cosmos. Absolutely nothing. Conjecture is often attributed to truth but there is fallacy in those claims. There are some who claim that the mind and the soul are in full cohesive partnership. Others claim they are one in the same. None have proof either way. Many religions claim that the soul is infinite and cannot die. The rhetoric surrounding the soul is so vastly imperfect that no one really knows what the truth is. Conjecture is all we have here on this and it is all highly flawed. At least that is the way Stoneman sees it Respect

Bob Dylan said he signed his soul over to the devil. If you cannot touch smell or see it how can you sign it over to anyone. Amazing answer though Stoneman very insightful and thoughtful
