SuperPuss enhanced refrigerator music - The fridge is fixed and remixed!!
Firstly, I'd like to offer a BIG SuperPuss hug to everyone who has shown support for my fridge music (AKA 'Outburst') by adding it to their stations. Thanks HEAPS peoples!!
After living with the first mix of this song for a couple of weeks, there were a few things that bugged me about it so I went back and added a couple of extra parts and did another mix which I am MUCH happier with. The original version has been replaced with the new version by uploading a new mp3 file so there's no need to change any station playlists. That happens automatically (another cool IAC feature at work!!)
Here's what I did....
* Made the vocoder vocal part crisper with more top end and intelligibility.
* Faded in the fridge drone sooner and made it louder.
* Re-eq'd the sequencer bass line to make it fuller and less boomy.
* Added a new keyboard pad part under the lead solo to fill it out (this was the thing that I wanted to do most and the whole reason I went back and did the other tweaks).
* Fixed the typo in the lyrics on the video clip (Thanks heaps Vincenzo for pointing that out to me!)

Excellent work, SP. The new versions are even better. I have to admit having to strain to hear the drone part that got you started, on the first version (I'm old). However, the remix paid off, and sounds great. Btw, congrats on the way your video site is growing.

There's another tweak in the new mix I forgot to mention and that is tweaking the EQ (a wider q on the mids) on the lead solo to give it more body.

I didn't add this tune to my stations because after my first listen I felt you needed to address a few of the following problems problems.

* Fix the typo in the lyrics on the video clip ( i canot stand bad speling or grama)
and lastly put a wider eq on the mids.
I think you have satisfied all the changes I required and I will now add this tune to my stations.
Geez I must be really bored........Great tune. Love the tweaks
