Today's weather report .......... on MARS!!!!
The following information cracked me up!!! :-D

Thanks to the successful landing and activation of NASA's Phoenix Mars lander, here we are in 2008, with detailed weather reports, complete with atmospheric pressure, min and max temperatures and wind speed and direction beamed to us directly from Mars!!!!
Now, I don't know about you but to me this is just incredible and was the stuff of science fiction not long ago!!

Of course I am fascinated by the experiments and data gathered by the Phoenix lander but the weather reports presented the same way we get our regular daily reports here on Earth really drove home the absolutely incredible nature of this historic mission.

-30 celsius akin to -22 Farenheit, but -80 C is -122 F? The scale doesn't seem quite right ...

It is cool ... figuratively and literally.

btw ... I entered my Mars address on Google, and they TOTALLY didn't find it. The street cams are really cool though.
