The Wimshurst's Machine was in the final 5 nominees in the category "Best Artist" in the International Online Music Awards 2007, names decided from 22000 voters. The band, who last year won in the category "best instrumental artist", also seen the track "Mountain Sunrise" be (for the 2nd consecutive year) nominee as "Best instrumental/soundtrack".
