Texas Police arresting people in BARS for drinking ?
What is the hell is wrong with this world if people cannot go out and blow off some steam at their local bars ?

This started in Dallas evidently, from the article I read (http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/11965237/) and seems to be moving around the State. I mostly guess I do not see how this is even legal. I mean, yes technically a Bar is a public place, but, it is also a controlled atmosphere as well ..

And lets not talk about what this could do to our local music scenes. It is already very tough out there for working bands, but this could put us out of business as well ...

Someone needs to stand up and do something about this before this gets any deeper, I am just in disbelief.

Lana, wasn't booze already illegal in Dallas? I thought that you had to go out of the City to even find a decent drink!

Arlington is a dry County, which means you cannot buy or sell liquor within the county lines, but you can drink it there, just can't buy it:) .. but Dallas proper or whatever the county is, is not dry.. There are bars all over Dallas, ie. Deep Ellum and such.
