Top 10 SEXY songs of all time?
10.
Scandalous, Prince (1989)
Picking Prince's sexiest song is like picking the best flavour of Miss Vickie's potato chips (Jalepeno! No wait…Cheddar and Onion. No wait…) but we went with this because it's just so hurtin' and slinky with that slow groove and audible breathing plus the suggestion of something illicit, which is often alluring. Undeniably smooth, Prince is a whole lotta sexy for such a little guy.
9.
Closer, Nine Inch Nails (1994)
Trent Reznor isn't exactly subtle here about what he wants to do or how he wants to do it as he intones then shouts his desires over dissonance and a pounding, pulsating beat. He needs you to save him from himself and the only way you can do this is by letting him feel you from the inside. So what kind of Samaritan would you be if you didn't help him out?
8.
Love to Love You Baby, Donna Summer (1975)
Summer, a virtual unknown at the time, wasn't sure if she could sound raunchy and sexy so thanks to the ingenious suggestion of producers Giorgio Moroder and Pete Bellotte, she eventually recorded this track lying on her back in the dark, imitating Marilyn Monroe. The fortunate result is nearly seventeen straight minutes of practically beggin' for it.
7.
I Want Your Sex, George Michael (1987)
Shock is the effect this had the year of its release when MTV would only show the video late at night and many radio stations refused to play the song at all. Amazing by today's standards. Interestingly, Michael was actually promoting monogamy with the video (it shows the words "explore monogamy" written on the body of his then alleged girlfriend, make-up artist Kathy Jeung) and as married folk know, monogamy is totally hot.
6.
Love Serenade, Barry White (1975)
With a voice smooth as gravel Barry "the panty remover" White hit that baritone note at the exact frequency that makes clothing just fly right off. Dude is so romantic it's embarrassing. Orchestral, electric and steamy this track perfectly mimics the rhythm of the kind of sweet slow lovin' that lasts all night long. Champagne, roaring fire and bearskin rug not included.
5.
Portishead, Glorybox (1994)
Hypnotic and raunchy at the same time this track blends distorted guitar with trip hop beats and a sweet voice demanding you give her a reason to love you, a reason to be a woman. She just wants to be a woman. Inspires some very hardcore but slo-mo fantasies.
4.
Justify My Love, Madonna (1990)
Actually written by Lenny Kravitz, Madonna and Ingrid Chavez, this video, because of its lurid content which included skimpy black leather outfits, homosexual activity and S&M, was one of the first to be banned from MTV adding to the tune's titillating reputation. The whispered and spoken lyrics add a sense of urgency while the hypnotic dance beat made this a favourite for dance floor group grinding.
3.
I'm Gonna Crawl, Led Zeppelin (1979)
from the get go Zep was the literal incarnation of the term "rock your pants off." Plant sounds like he's in intolerable pain here and the only thing in the world that can relieve him is the touch of his babe who gives him such good lovin' he don't care where he has to crawl to get it. From the bluesy creeping instrumental build-up to the screaming climax, this is H-O-T-T because who doesn't want a babe like that?
2.
Wicked Game, Chris Isaac (1989)
Sexy song for romantic types who like to imagine some sort of mystery in their trysts – "I don't wanna fall in love…with you," why? Do you have to run off in the night to dispense some sexy vigilante style justice? Or maybe you're a misunderstood criminal with a heart of gold! – Isaac made women everywhere swoon with his sweeping sensitive falsetto and Helena Christensen rolling around with Isaac in the beach in the video provided the eye candy for the boys so it was win win.
and number 1 is.....................
1.
Let's Get it On, Marvin Gaye (1973)
This record sexually revolutionized music just as 'What's Going On' had previo
