that's right paul,
it's a bargain.
and sam, i'm gonna save the very 1st signed ( and delicately kissed) copy for you. 100% authentic!
iac helped me tremendously in developing this collection of songs by giving me a place to get feedback and inspiration from other artists. also, hugh hamilton appears as a guest on a few tunes(thanx, hugo!) and smokes!
after two and a half years of working on it it's good to be done.
i don't know when i may feel like starting a new one. i might be a while.
thanks y'all

I got my Cd in the mail today ... Wow ! ...
Dick is REAL GOOD ... and this Cd is REAL GOOD ...
It starts off with ear candy that is every bit the equal of Paul Simon ... the listening experience is awesome, made so by the technical abilities of all those associated with the project, the real musicianship showing through in the grand variety of instrumentation, and the over-all finished sound.
The song writing abilities of Dick are nothing short of Amazing taking one through the full gambit of human emotions ... and his arrangements could only be thought out by a seasoned veteran who understands what the word "feel" means.
There are no "lemons" on this Cd and there are five or six tunes here that just absolutely stop me in my tracks and make me say ...
WoW ! ... this guy is REAL GOOD ...
I know I will play this thing many times over ...
Great Job Dick !

Yep Bryon, THAT's where I've been. I'd been working on this album for a while when the recession hit and I lost my funding. I had been employed for 4 years by a marketing company who kept me working on my craft while helping them out with an occasional musical piece for advertising. The company folded last August. Which really sucks but that's the music biz for ya. I started doing a bit more session work here in L.A. for TV shows and records etc. but much of my income is now playing sax. When I'm not gigging or practicing I'm taking care of my kids so that my wife can work at her new job in the yoga industry.... Which ROCKS cuz she is happy and in great shape. Things are pretty ok for the time being but I've been spending far less time on line or in my studio. Oh... how I ramble...
Thanks for the kind words, Sam. I consciously set out to make this album "run the gamut of human emotion". I'm happy to hear that it comes across. I hope you enjoy
it as much as I did making it.
Thanks Auset, I still have plenty.... Go for the physical copy with art work and the hidden outro. : )

Got my CD and have already listened for a couple of days. Really nice work Dick how each song takes you to it's own place and easy piece of mind. You've done very well with one of my own musical goals in that aspect. The utilization of all of the well placed (and played) instruments shows the time well spent on this project. Kudos to Hugo and everyone else that contributed thier musicianship and fine ear! Great lyrics and frame of mind to go with each gem. This is a great addition to my collection and I've already played a few tunes for some friends.
Great Job Dick,
D.

Thanks for the positive review, Duane! It is apparent to me how hard I worked on this
collection by how burned out I am right now. But a few good words and I'm feeling like I might be ready to get back at it sometime in the next few months.
Thanks HOP, I'm sending you a cyber-high-five since you know how I feel.
Rock on Peeps!
