NOMINATION!!!
Incredible but true... "You" has been nominated for the Golden Kayak award of IAIA!!!
I just couldn't ever imagine that a song of ours could arrive to this result.
The most incredible thing is that no one of us believed in "You"... we thought it was a nice song, but not a hit!
We have a pair of songs ("I wish" and "Midsummer raving") very high on charts (#2 and #3 in Classical), but not "You"...
The only thing I can say is "I really can't believe it!".
Well, I have to thank I.A.C. for giving us this chance: some months ago we were almost to give up, but I decided to publish our music on the web to see what people think about it...
In less than three months in I.A.C. we had a long standing #1, another tune in the Top 3, several tunes in the Top 100 and now a nomination for an International Award!!!
But the most important thing is that I had the chance to know extraordinary artists and wonderful people.
Thanks to all the IAIA members.
Gina, Raymond, William, Corrado, Anjuli, Steve... thanks for your support, I wish you'll win your award, I'll vote for you!
Thanks to all the friends from Italy and from Spain who supported us these months.
I don't mind if we'll win or not the award... I've already feel a winner!

Incredibile ma vero... "You" è stata nominata per il Premio Golden Kayak della IAIA (l'Accademia Internazionale di Artisti Indipendenti).
Non avrei mai immaginato che una nostra canzone potesse arrivare a questo risultato.
La cosa più incredibile e che nessuno di noi credeva in "You"... pensavamo fosse un pezzo carino, ma non un hit potenziale, non comunque abbastanza buono per meritarsi una nomination.
L'unica cosa che posso dire (rubando la frase ad Aldo di Aldo Giovanni e Giacomo) è "NON CI POSSO CREDERE!!!".
Devo ringraziare Independent Artist Company per averci dato questa opportunità: qualche mese fa eravamo sul punto di smettere di suonare, quando decisi di mettere la nostra musica sul web per vedere quale fosse la reazione della gente.
Non mi sarei mai potuto perdonare di lasciare tutto senza sapere se eravamo validi o no.
Bene, in meno di tre mesi su IAC abbiamo avuto un #1 per quasi due mesi, un #3 e diversi brani nelle rispettive Top 100.
Ma la cosa più importante e quella di aver avuto l'opportunità di conoscere artisti e persone straordinarie.
Grazie a tutti i membri dell'IAIA.
Grazie soprattutto a Gina French, Raymond Porter, William Troniak, Corrado Rossi, Anjuli dei Gaslight District, Steve Ison... spero che potrete vincere il vostro premio, voterò per voi!
Grazie a tutti gli amici dall'Italia e dalla Spagna che ci hanno sostenuti in questi mesi.
Non mi importa se vinceremo o no il premio (ovvio che se vinciamo è meglio ;-))...
Io mi sento già vincitore!

You and If should be so proud, you deserve it so very much! I am crossing my fingers for you my friend and my other wonderful friends, GD, Maria Daines, Raymond, Paul Groover, Willy T., Rich Russom, The Grip Weeds, The Great Indoors, the list goes on and on...I feel the same way about my song and for even being nominated for Best Female, I certainly don't deserve that, my god look at the incredible artists that I'm listed with, the extraordinary voices, the exceptional songs, The Chillum Brothers are so very good, everyone. I certainly don't expect to win anything, and I'm not just saying that, I feel that I'm already a winner by just being nominated, just as you said as well. I've never been nominated for anything in regards to my music, maybe just once here locally in Salt Lake, but that's it. So, I'm doing flips over these nominations. I treasure all of my wonderful friends at IAC and the new ones that I'll make, and I am blown away by all of the superb artists on this site. The support for me has been tremendous, so I thank everyone...Viva La Independents!!!!! BTW Dario, have a great Friday, it's almost over, the weekend is on its way, yay!!
