Musical activity
Hi everyone.
I'm living a great time.
It was some months ago I was slightly losing interest in music: I left my Home Country and I went abroad to find a job.
I left my friends, my family and I thought I was leaving my music.
I thought it would be difficult keep on playing with my band mates living more than 1000 miles away...
But how suggested my good friend Raymond Porter, we're living in a privileged time...
Last summer, when we were working on if (the album), I decided to try out the web experience.
I didn't want my music die without knowing a huge number of listeners' opinion.
I had to know if someone all over the world could like our work.
So I put my music on Garageband, and I received any kind of reviews: raw, nasty, good, ego-boosting, polite, unpolite...
Well, I thought, someone likes this stuff!
So I try the adventure on IAC... and "I wish" reached #1!
I'm very happy, especially for the people and the artists I'm knowing in this adventure...
So I think I have to keep on writing, playing and producing music...
Meanwhile my friend Sergi Fecé asked for my collaboration for a musical project.
Sergi is a Spanish musician/producer. He played for years in the band Loquillo y los Trogloditas (they had big hits here in the years of the "Movida") and now he is one of the best quoted composers and producers in Spain (he usually works with big guitarist Jordi Pegenaute and they founded the Pauner Ferri musical production company).
He is working on a record by a local songwriter, so he called me to help him with arrangements and recordings as producer assistant.
It was a great experience, because it's the first time for me in a professional production.
I'm happy Sergi gave me this chance.
OK. Today I stop here.
I'll tell you more about my new musical projects inside and outside if.
