I went on a trip for a couple of days. I stopped at an amazing place. The American Legion Hall in Sonora Ca. It had a great museum that went all the way back to the civil war days. The caretaker (Dan) was a WWII veteran. We talked for about an hour about respect, honor, trust, and putting your life on the line for a brother soldier. I myself am a Nam era veteran. I joined Dan's AL chapter and we gave each other a hug when I left.
I want to extend that same hug out to all of our military personnel and ask we all think of our fallen brothers for just one minute.
May we soon have Peace.............................D.

Just finished placing the American Flag outside my House. This is a special day to pay tribute and remember those who served our Country. Much respect to you D !
I have a six month old Boy, I pray he never has to fight a war. Jeff

Great sentiment John .. I'm sure most everyone has someone personal to remember on this day ... even the deaths of those unknown to us should always be remembered for their sacrifice and they should be personal to all of us.
