The Federal Government is currently receiving 50% of the total revenue from nearly THIRTY-FIVE THOUSAND!!! oil rigs in the Gulf of Mexico. Right now! ...at this VERY MINUTE!
WHY???? ...then doesn't "our" government un-ass some of THIS revenue and put IT toward the DISASTER IN THE GULF???
WHERE??? ...does this revenue "go" anyway? What is done with these "TRILLIONS!!!" of dollars? WHERE IS THIS MONEY???????
Why is BP putting up twenty billion and suspending dividends when "WE"(the U.S. Gov't) are keeping 100% of "OUR" profits from this drilling in the Gulf of Mexico?
WHY??? DO "THEY" SAY THE "TAXPAYERS" MUST PUT UP FUNDING???? WHY TAKE ANY MORE MONEY OUT OF MY PAYCHECK??? USE THE DAMNED MONEY FROM ALL OF THAT DRILLING!!!!!
AREN'T THE ONES NOW SUFFERING THE CONSEQUENCES FROM ALL OF THAT DRILLING DESERVING ENOUGH TO RECEIVE AT LEAST SOME OF THE "BENEFITS" WHICH ARE DERIVED FROM IT???
FIND "THAT" MONEY!!!! OPEN THOSE BOOKS!!! TAKE THOSE TRILLIONS OF DOLLARS AND TURN THEM OVER TO THE AFFECTED STATES!!! DIVIDE THE REVENUES EQUALLY AMONG ALL THE AFFECTED PARTIES!!! BE CREATIVE!!!!
...AND YOU WON'T HAVE TO RAISE "ANY" TAXES (or bankrupt any company) TO DO IT!!!
