I hope nobody can hear this....
I'm happy for James Blunt to have success. I just which he was succesful at something that didn't involve me hearing him everywhere I go. What worries me is the fact that, if there is intelligent life out there in space and they are thinking of making contact with us....if they hear James Blunt on some transmission that leaked into the ether, they might think we all sound like that and spend the day whining about how beautiful some girl who dumped us is.
And as for ' it sounds like a very unhappy duck getting kicked in the eggs'.

anyway we have to remember that Billboard is about commercial success ... items SOLD ... i.e. ... what the greatest number of people find least offensive and/or risky to spend their money on, not to mention what is purchased by radio stations, which is where i seem to be hearing it (not by choice, at work), which are, again, commercial ... what the advertisers find least offensive = most attractive (in some twi$ty way). Billboard doesn't tell me anything about what is worth listening to. it's more like investment research. and people pay good money for manure, too.
