Looking to upgrade recording interface....suggestions?
For years I've used an Echo Gina PCI card, but there are no Vista drivers for it and I'm ready to move on anyway. Looking for a good USP interface. Something with phantom power, a minimum of 2 instrument inputs, MIDI in/out, mic input, headphone jack. Any suggestions? A friend of mine uses Lexington's Omega and likes it pretty well.

Input appreciated.

I just bought an M-Audio MobilePre USB preamp/interface .... I think it's going to work out nicely ... I think it has all the features you are looking for .... and I bought it brand new on EBAY for $100.00 ..
I'm just getting started with it ,I have no sound sample for you to hear yet, but it sounds a lot better than what I had.. It's lightweight and portable too..
