ANTLiB 2007 at the Eve Club, Piccadilly, 3rd November 2007
I just picked this up from the BBC Gig Guide...........wow!

'This was the 30th year celebration of Adam and the Ants and all things insect-like! A private gathering of 200 or so AntPeople from all over the country. There were 4 live bands including Dead Heaven, The Autons, AntFlavour tribute and an electro-based retro band called Johnny Normal. Yes, I said ELECTRO...at an Ant gig! But, you know what???they rocked! The lead singer (Johnny I believe)had a really endearing yet unpredictable quality to him. I wasn't sure if he was serious, tongue in cheek or bonkers...maybe all three at once. The songs were catchy, very original, tasty lyrically and kept the audience entranced until the end. A couple of familiar songs went down really well with the Ant faithful, and it's hard to believe that these guys got such a warm response from the punk-influenced crowd. The Autons were very cool and original too, and i think we will be seeing more of them and Johnny Normal very soon. It was unusual, but touching, to see Johnny mingling with teh audience after the set and chatting with everyone he could. He even gave away free albums and t-shirts! Back to my earlier point...he must be crackers!..but entertaining.'

Thank you whoever wrote it!
