Thank you Scott for the tip for dummies like myself when it comes to this Pipeline stuff. I felt compelled to share this from Rick, who really nails it when it comes to labels and the industry itself. Many of the younger crowd may not realize what a swamp it has become, the treasure of a place like this for artists, both composers and players.

After I went back to youtube I clicked the share button on the video. That led me to a box where I could copy the code. I copied the code and pasted it here but I still do not see it. What am I missing here?

You have to copy the embed code, which is about 5 lines long.

Hmmmm, Not sure I believe all of that but it was very compelling. I just believe Jimi would be famous in any era he happened to be born in an I tend to get annoyed with so called "experts" who try to take away his shine. He was the innovator that made watching guitar players play so much fun. None of that boring just stand and sway back and forth shit. He was constantly doing something innovative and new. He made guitar playing exciting and the spectacle of the band. Having seen him live several times (before he was famous when he was with the Isley Brothers) I can tell you that he could have cared less about the crowd and fame and all that. He just wanted to get up and show you his ass on the guitar. Before he was over they (guitar players) were all copying everything he did on stage and in the studio. Many of the new guitar players are still copying his shit. I think that says it all.

He is not dissing Jimi, just the opposite if you actually watched!LOL. He is dissing what the industry has done to artists like him. Check your billboard top 10. Your lucky if you even hear a guitar! LOL!

The point of the rant is that there was a time when record execs were there because they actually loved music, and they were willing to take chances with artists even if their first few releases failed. Now, if you are not an instant success, you are gone. So artists like Jimi never would have survived today. Hell, most of us can't catch a break today. We. Are. FUCKED! (But at least most of us are having fun!)
