this crazy world of electronic music...
Electronic music. What a wacky world to dive into when you've only used ADAT (and didn't even do that well!)

I'll bet this makes me sound like I'm beyond my actual years. I mean, I suppose to some, just now discovering creating music electronically seems equivalant to saying "wow, this round thing sounds so much greater than my clunky 8 tracks, and the songs don't cut off while the tape flips..."

Anyhow, it seems that electronic music is my answer to making music as a total loner. Sounds crazy, but that's actually what I'm after. I want to be creating music all by my lonesome, totally anti-socially with only my own opinions to compete with. I figure all this will balance out my typical days nicely. But it's not easy. Far from it, when you're as new to this as I am.

Fortunately I'm not going at it alone; there is a wealth of knowledge to be had in the forums here at IAC (if you're new to creating electronic music yourself, check out my post - it's a real intro for the true beginner filled with info from a cool community - thanks all) :) I suspect the forums will be my salvation the farther I get.

well you can use your electronics sparingly as you're one of the few who can get away with singing acupelo. :)
