Your,e awfy good but your,e to loud
I was playing a gig in bar that was decked out in ceramic tiles. As everyone knows well maybe you don,t tiles reflect sound. The band started up and omg i,ve never heard nothing like it. I felt as though i had stuck my head in an echo chamber the sound was bouncing about like nothing on earth. You could see the people grimasing at the bar so we played the first tune and everybody just looked at us though we had 2 heads. I thought we better turn this down so we cut our whole band volume by half. This did nothing exactly the same effect sound bouncing everywhere. So we turned it down cut it in half again nada the same effect. Then this old drunk geezer came up and said you,re awfy good but your,e to loud. By then it was looking as though the locals were going to lynch us so out of self preservation we quietly packed our gear and went home Happy days

I know your pain. One of the places we often play is nicknamed by the band the "Concrete Palace" and no matter how much we turn down the sound richochets off of the walls and floor like bullets. It's a drag because many people including the owner just don't understand the situation.

Well they can always do what the station in rhode island did and put friggin highly flamable foam all over the ceiling and then hire some coke heads to set off some pyrotechnics that shoot up 20 ft. in a 10 ft room. Then the band can just keep playing for a while while the room gets completely ingulfed. What the heck were they thinking, Baby is mad, This was close to home. What a freakin tradgedy.
I bet tiles don't burn like that.. Holy singing in the shower batman. Gurgle
