Musical fun with a themed EP
Hello all, I just finished and uploaded the final two songs of a themed EP. I wanted to explain what its all about as it might seem a bit random without context. It's a 3 Track EP called Look Before You Jump. Three very different sounding songs, each exploring different periods, moods, angles and perspecitives of 2020 to date.
While each song is different, each one borrows musical themes, melodies and instruments from the others to create a kind of perculiar chaotic familiarity.

I'm really enjoying doing these themed collections of music, it's a lot more challenging than just writing a song which I like.

Thank you! And good plan. The video for Part 2 is about half way done, and the final two parts are a bit more coherent so I hope you'll enjoy.

Did you do the animations as well? Funny, as a musician you describe it as each song having an accompanying animation - it seemed to me that these are great soundtracks for the videos. On the other hand, the story is in the music as much as in the visual. Really original - looking forward to parts 2 and 3!

Ha, yeah good point. I'm not sure if it's a music video or a video with music. It's been equal fun creating both video and the music though. Lots of learning.
